How do I install the WooCommerce Shipping Only solution?


This section describes the installation steps for the UPS i-parcel Logistics Only plugin for WooCommerce.


Before beginning, you will need:

  • Access to WooCommerce.
  • Credentials for the Global Access dashboard.

Installation Instructions

You can install the WooCommerce Plugin from WordPress.org or extract the \*.zip file into "wp-content/plugins" directory.

Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

Navigate to the UPS i-parcel option in your admin’s navigation.

Enter your UPS i-parcel Global Access username and password to fetch your API keys. Save your settings.

You can view your UPS i-parcel credentials by selecting the app from the navigation pane, then selecting Configuration.

Catalog Sync

In order for UPS i-parcel to calculate Tax, Duty and Shipping costs, we need a copy of your catalog. We also use your catalog to determine shipping ineligibility and other Global Access features. You can feed us a catalog directly from your WordPress admin. Configure your feed using the settings below, then save your changes an submit your catalog to UPS i-parcel.

Setting up Catalog

From the Navigation bar on the left, navigate to UPS i-parcel > Catalog sync.

Catalog Configuration

You can select to sync your catalog when you save a product with UPS i-parcel catalog using the Auto Catalog Updates drop-down. You can also disable the automatic sync.

UPS i-parcel automatically pulls required fields, which include Product SKU, Product Name, Product Categories, Product Price, Product Description, Product Dimensions, Product Weight and Product URL.

Auto Catalog Configuration

You can also feed additional information from your catalog to the UPS i-parcel catalog. These details will help the classification department apply the proper HTS Codes to your products to accurately calculate tax, duty and shipping costs.

Update Catalog

Click the “Upload Catalog” button to sync the WooCommerce catalog to the UPS i-parcel Global Access Dashboard.

Shipping Methods

One more step before you are up and running is to enable UPS i-parcel as a shipping option in your store.

Navigate to UPS i-parcel > Shipping Methods.

Add UPS i-parcel as the shipping method to locations not covered by your other zones.
